Option 1: Use your system restore that is built into Xp or whatever backup software you have that will take you back to when it worked.

Option 2: Contact _dan_ with cineform and see what he recommends.

Option 3: Clear out your registry keys. This could be very dangerous to your system if you don't know what you are doing.

Easy fix. Install the free NEO Player that you can download from www.cineform.com. This upgrades your CineForm license without have to re-install everything.

My SE playback now was influenced by a Tracktion installation. So it looks like it's not Cineform what is causing the trouble but SE letting installations getting itself somewhat confused.

I'll try installing the Neo Player to solve the Vegas problem. Thanks.

Marco

Edit:
I installed the Player-only version of Neo and Cineform is back to Vegas.

Another post-note:
I think Cineform actually had nothing to do with my problem which first made me uninstalling ConnectHD. It probably was a grafic card issue. I installed a new grafic card driver and now SpeedEdit's playback works fine even with Cineform by it's side (and Vegas still works fine whatever I do ... ;-)).
