Cineform NeoScene and VMSP

From time to time on the forum 'NeoScene' gets a mention (by Euginia I think). Would NeoScene in combination with VMSP offer any advantages over having VMSP alone? Looking at the NeoScene site I note they mention 'real time editing' and I wonder what exactly they mean by this.

I'm producing short movie clips from my Canon SX1 IS and 7D cameras and what I'd really like to achieve is full editing of these files e.g. cutting out various unwanted sections etc. The in-camera menu only allows for cutting frames from the beginning and the end but from time to time there are also unwanted frames within the movie. I don't believe that this is achievable in VMSP itself and if so I've never been able to find a way to do it.

NeoScene is a visually lossless intermediate codec, but it has its own GUI with some interesting functions. It is used a lot by Vegas Professional users because it is fast.

Just download the 30 day trial and test it with your own material to see if it is to your liking.

As musicvid said, download the trial of Cineform NeoSCENE (sells for $99) and see how this works for you. IM me or email me if you need instructions on how to set it up in its prefs panel.
