JohnnyRoy, I hope you see this. I see you are a Cinema 4D user so maybe you can answer my question.

A few months ago I purchased a CD on Ebay that had the Cinema4D CE 6. Its the limited resolution version (640x480). It was one of those programs that come with ComputerArts magazine. I played with it a little and found some great tutorials also (happy to share, if your interested). Anyway, now I try to start the program and it says my serial number is expired, and I can't start the program.

Did you also get your copy from the ComputerArts CD, and did you also have this problem? Any suggestions?

Hello JohnyRoy,

I picked up C4D from Computer Arts and then upgraded it to the full res verion.

It comes with a tempory code which I then had to register online to receieve the permanent code. This was sent by mail.

I am not sure about buying the cver disk on eBay - maybe the owner never registered it, I lost the permanat code after building my new system and called Maxon who reissued the permanent code.

Try registering it and see how you get on.

Regards, Paul
