I have VMS9 and all my themes work. I had several themes already on my computer.

In the past couple days, I purchased the download upgrade for VMS Platinum Pro Pack 9.0 AND the "Optional Shipped Components" (I upgraded from 3.0b). I've installed all the parts as well as the new release to 9.0a. I've tinkered with the Cinescore Plugin as little.

Prior to my upgrade, I viewed the online training videos for the full-blown Cinescore product and was impressed by the potential of the product. However, after tinkering with the Cinescore Plugin for VMS, I'm a little disappointed in it. Sony only gave us the bare minimum in control as compared to the full-blown version. The plugin came with only 2 themes and each of them has 29 variations. I look forward to receiving the "Optional Shipped Components" which contains the additional themes and variations.

Perhaps things will change when they release the next version of the plugin. I understand marketing and sales concepts and the bottom line, as always, is about making $$$. The blow is softened a bit by Sony including Sound Forge Audio 9.0 and the other goodies.

Looks like Cinescore 1.0a has hit the streets. I'm downloading it now. They haven't yet updated the Release Notes for it, still says April 2008! Will be interesting to see what was fixed.
