Clearing In and Out points?

Is there a keyboard shortcut or even a menu to clear the In and Out points from the timeline or from the trimmer? Once I place them, I can only seem to move them around but not delete them.

I couldn't find the answer to this in the help file or on a search of the forum, so I thank you for your help in advance!

Shenan . . I think I know what you are asking - but could you ask it again in a different way? For example, are you saying that you have an event that you have created from Timmer and you now may want to extend it and/or you also want to re-edit the finished length? Or are you saying that within Trimer you have a register of the INs and Outs . .OR are you saying that you Captured INs & Outs and now you want to capture a different In and out .. See, my poor brain cell is spinning - yeah?

Best regards - Grazie

Options - Preferences - Editing tab - Collapse loop region when no time selection is present.

Check the above option and then simply clicking on the timeline will cause the loop region to disappear.

Thanks guys! Grazie, I was just looking for a way to remove my in and out points. For example, if I set an in point and then don't want to have an in point any more, anywhere on the timeline (or in the trimmer if that's where I'm working).

It looks like what Jetdv suggested will help, I will just have to work a little bit differently. I wonder if a script to do this through a keypress would be very difficult to write? I've not written one before.

Thanks!

No it would not. However, it's just as easy to click.
