Clicking anywhere to reposition the cursor when region selected

The play marker acts normally when the region is full event/project, but create a region & if the play marker is 'playing' you can't click anywhere else?

VP21 auto jumped to a new region, VP22 doesn't

Changing this setting makes it work correctly.

@Gid, yes, I repro this. Something's broken and we'll figure it out. In the meantime workaround steps are:

When you make your time selection, don't use the right-mouse button to drag in the timeline--that seems to be the action that causes the problem, although we need to do further investigation to confirm that. Instead, drag with the left mouse button in the Marker Bar (that's the area right above the timeline Ruler Bar)
Doing the above will also restore the functionality that gets broken when you select time with the right-mouse button

@gary-rebholz Thankyou glad it's not just me, yep that works, I do like the new simple left click selection option much more than the old left click right click option, so if this could be fixed that would be good 👍
