Hi Everyone !
I´ve just completed an album with music. Now to my problem. I´ve used cd architect to set track markers out of one long audiofile with no pauses between the tracks.( i wan´t it to be a mix cd ) When i listen to it in my cd player everything sounds ok except for that i hear a click in the beginning of tracks 3. I´ve tried to change the tracks start position several times and burned several records but the problem remains the click is still there.( the click is not heard when i listen to the audiofile initself´)

Please help me complete my album ( you can get a cd for free if you help me of course :)
Best regards Conny

If I understand the problem, you have multiple tunes, with no silence between ? You may need to make a very small silence where the track marks are located, to prevent the sudden change from one tune to the next. Are the cracks the same between all tracks ? If not, then the change between tunes is likely the problem, and a small silence may fix it.
Hope this helps . .

Hi !
Thanx for your answer. yes a short silence would maybe would do it but then it will not sound as i wan´t it to .I wan´t the cd to be a long mix with no silence or pauses in it
Is there any other way i could do it ?

Best regards Conny

I was thinking of a very short silence, ie not really audible, that would still sound like you want it to. It would require that track marks be exactly on the center of the dip in the audio. I frequently use Fade-Graphic in SF for this purpose. These graphic fades can be very short, the important part is to get a fade to silence to suppress the click.

Hi Conny,

What you are doing in the first place is correct, and there should be no clicks. I would say that the player giving the clicks is faulty (have you tried other players ?).

Either that or your CD writer is somehow inadequate ....

Hi everybody !
Thank you both for your answers.I´ve tried to listen to the record in a smaller cd player
and the click wasn´t there.Maybe it´s my cd stereo ( an old one ) Which doesn´t work correctly.I will trie some other cd stereos and see how it sounds I´ll get back to you .Best regards Conny
