Clip bin

Is there a way to put some sort of marker on clips, in the clip bin, that you have placed on the timeline - so that when you have a couple of hundred or so clips up, it is easy to see at a glance, which clips are not on the timeline?

That is, is there some setting you can make that automatically marks a clip in the bin - on the thumbnail - when you add it to the edit?

Hiyah - Don't know if this will get you Thru The Nite - but, select "Details" in Media Pool. This has a load of information for you to use. One of the columns is a "Use" count column. It will tell if you've used the media in the T/L and how many times - yeah? You could then sort this column in ascending or descending order.

To answere your orig. question - I can't see it myself - maybe you might wish to drop the good folks at SoFo a "Product Suggestion" note:

If you can't see the Use Count column, Right click within the Media Pool and confirm under "View" you have the Use Count column slected. You can also select "Grid" to give it spreadsheet clarity - yeah?

Another thing is that after you've soreted in Detail view the Use Count, if you then go back to Thumbnail view the "0" Use clip will be highlighted so you can see the media/hear the media that hasn't been used. - I guess you are using loads of media and maybe, like me, you aren't sure which is ON the T/L this could assist you in confirming that the media HAS or HASN'T been used - Yeah?

You can also "Move" columns into view by going to the Column Header, Left Click and Hold and physically move the column left or right - neat eh? - This means you could place the Use Count column any where along the Grid for your ease of use.
