Clip in timeline is partially green

I cut out a scene from a film with Videopad v. 13.28 which I'm still using while transitioning to Vegas Pro. The mp4 clip itself is partially green, but the sound is fine. Have you met this problem before? I'm using Win 11 and Vegas Pro 20.0

It may not have been ripped or re-encoded well. Are there other settings you can try with Videopad?

Thanks for your reply. I switched from H264 to H265 and now it works.
