If your selecti0n is being made from the Timeline these details will be seen in there small windows in the bottom fright corner on the bar under the Timeline --- and ditto if working from the Trimmer.

Oldsmoke answered my question. You have to "double-click" on the event and it gives you the length plus in and out points.

Here is the script that will show you the event length. Sorry, it's not mine and I forgot who to give credit to, maybe some else here can remember who wrote it?
