Clip preview is lagging after reverse

I've created video proxies in order for the playback to be smooth when previewing. However, after right-clicking and selecting reverse, the reversed video is not playing smooth even when previewing in draft mode. The original (unreversed) clip is playing smooth in Preview mode.

I made sure to match the project properties to the media properties.

Please advise.

I wouldn't expect it to preview in realtime. The cpu load would probably be unsustainable.
Reversing an event on the timeline does not create a reversed FILE -- until you render it!
One word -- Prerender -- after you've reversed the event.
