Use Pan/Crop to get them to the shape you want, then use Track Motion to position them where you want them.

Try Track Motion. If you have version 5 its the second icon in the header of any video track. Use the controls to size video A, then repeat in other tracks until you get the result you're looking for.

I know how to do that, but how do I make it into a rectangle?

MAC: take a look at this .veg file i uploaded. If you examine the Pan/Crop and Track Motion settings at 00:000:10;00 on the timeline you'll see what needed to be done to reshape, resize, and move the events.
