clipboard in blac and white

I cannot use the Fx.The reason is that everything is in black and white.The only way to get color on the screen is to bypass the clipboard. Thus I cannot not use the Fx in colorproductions...There must be something wrong with the settings.Any ideas?

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite understanding what it is you are trying to say here.
You are importing media from the Windows clipboard and it is pasting in Black and White? That would be related to whatever you placed on the clipboard, not Vegas.
FX apply whether the image is black and white or color.

We definately need more details here.
- Which Fx are you trying to use?
- How are you appying the Fx?
- Why are you using the clipboard?
- What are you putting in the clipboard?
- Where is it coming from?
- How are you getting it into the clipboard?

I don't think we can help you until we know some of these details.
