Clips download as one file only

I recently had factory repair to fix a "green screen" problem with my SONY DCR-VX2100. Camera works fine now, but I have a problem when downloading the tape to my computer. Instead of multiple avi clips, it combines them all as one.

I have been using the product for several years and have never experienced this problem before. It must have been some default change from the factory repair. Any suggestions please?

May be a problem with timecode information - have you got a battery in the camera?

Yes, and also had it plugged into AC when downloading tape. Tried it three times and still the same problem.

I now notice that the the video taken before the factory repair, downloads correctly with individual clips, so it might be related to the timecode issue.

Is there a way to reset that feature?

All fixed. I had to reset the Clock.
