Closing previous dar to start a new one

Chum wrote on 9/13/2014, 2:20 PM
When I go to start a new dar I would click on Close,(Because it remembers the last project that I had used). When I do that it always opens another window to open something. I end up clicking Cancel then NEW. Is there some setting or something so that when I want to close that last project that it actually Closes normally so I can make a New dar project?

Which Version of DVDA are you using?

5 was pretty stable. Version 6 had some issues that might be related to your problem. I am running 5.2 and could not duplicate your issue.

What exactly is the text box asking for when you try to close a project?

Try going to Options>Preferences>General tab and unticking

"Automatically open last project on starting". Maybe that will clear its throat.

Sorry for the delay. It opens a window for "Open Media". If I click on Close, it goes back to excising project. This last time I tried "new" (single movie), there wasn't any backgrounds use.

If there's no menu there can't be a background.
