cntrl C and V of events with groups

Not sure if this has always been like this because there has been a gap since my last big project and working in VegasPro. When I copy an event that is part of a group, it is assumed I want to copy the whole group, so when I paste, I get more than what I want. I feel this is cumbersome because if I just want to copy and paste one event in a complex work, I have to first ungroup them then eventually regroup which can get messy if there are multiple groups spread throughout the timeline. Is there a toggle option I am missing or is this a bug? It would be a huge QOL if there was a toggle button just to ensure I am copying what I am highlighting/selecting vs the whole chain of group. If I wanted to copy and paste a group, then I will select that group or visually indicate as so; whereas, I have selected on event and visually ONLY one event is shown highlighted, but copy and paste does the whole group of events.

@Limit22 There is an 'Ignore Event Grouping' button at the bottom, you'd have to turn it off & on as you go.
