Codec problem

Several months ago i edited a 3D project in V11 with Sony TD10 files and some rendered, stabilized Canopus HQX avi files on the timeline.
Now i reinstalled win7 on a new ssd, installed the same V11 and (the same!) HQX installer exe file. But i cannot load my project.
Progress bar goes to around 40%, then this error message comes:

What can i do? I tried uninstall and reinstall hqx codec, but with no luck :(
The avi file is playable from mediaplayer, so the codec is installed on the system.
I don't use any codec pack, i hate it.

edit: i just try importing these hqx files to a blank new timeline and it works! Just i cannot open my important project and continue work :(

move all the files to a different folder and try to open the project again. mark the "ignore and leave offline" option

see if it properly opens

Naturally, if you move your media files, you'll need to re-connect them to your project.

That said, have you uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas? I'm not sure what you "reinstalled Windows 7" from, but any operating system installation can knock support files out of place -- even if you're just reinstalled Windows or cloning one drive to a new drive.

on "project media", click on any offline media, go to "replace...", and select the same file that you moved earlier to a new folder. do this for a few files, then save the project with a new name.

then, try to open again the new saved project, and see if opens with the replaced files in proper place (mark "ignore ad keep offline" again)

Finally i figured out what's going on.
It was a long time ago, and i don't remember now, but one file was rendered with Lagarith codec. As soon as i installed this, the project loaded without error.

Anyway it would be good an error message from Vegas, which file could not be opened..

Thanks guys :)
