Codecs

I have VMS10 Platinum. Can it use 3rd party codecs like Divx or Xvid? When I add a Xvid file to a project, I get just audio and no video.

Install the DivX player and Vegas will be able to read and render DivX files.

I haven't played with Xvid, but it should be about the same.

You can, but download them from their primary server and are "VFW".
Only install the codecs you need, not those big codec "packs" which can be harder to get rid of than a case of bedbugs.
