Hi

I have a question regarding to color corection. Is there any key or control so that color corection effects only certain frames or sometimes whole event ? I did some color corection on the event I do not know which frames are effected by color corection filter. Is it single frame or whole event ?

Thank you

well...you could maybe do this...take the clip and make them match to the last frame. put them on top of each other. Then put the color correction effect to one of the clips. then put the clip with which ever your starting with after the events you want it to follow. Then copy the corrected clip. Then drag the uncorrected clip after the point you want the effect to be turned off and switch back and forth between the corrected and non corrected...

sry if i worded it wrong..but its a really easy concept if you get what im talking about.

Is it single frame or whole event ?

Assuming you clicked the "Event FX" button at the end of the clip (as opposed to the "Track FX" or the "Video Output FX" buttons), it'll be the entire event. To restrict it to a section of the event, you'll have to keyframe it.

My preferred method is to FIRST break your project into events (use the split option) then apply FX filters by event. This seems to work nice because if one event is rather different than another instead of having an abrupt change you can ramp up or down with nearly any filter by setting key frames. So if you want to give Gamma a nudge in event A, then drop it in the ajoining event B, adding keyframes to make a gradual change over time is the way to go.
