Color Correction

What are the best YouTube tutorials for doing color correction in Vegas: that is, tutorials that point out general principles, and demonstrate particular examples, suggest an order in which different processes ought to be applied, and explain why you might--or might not--do things the way the author does them?

Thank you zdogg. Sounds like a pretty capable app. Do you use it?

I stumbled on this one: < and it's exactly what I was looking for: definitions, theory, practice, and examples, all in one.

Yes, that is a good video tutorial you found, I've referenced that one myself as well, very good information

. Logarist is introducing alternate color space options and taking you into full range - 32 bit - color, not that that is the best or only way to do it, and you need to match camera formats or they also have a more generic setting if you're not sure. (you can use it in 8 bit, I'm not sure how much you're losing that way, I've gotten good results) It's free, (requires their plugin, pretty easy to install) and might be worth a look once you get a handle on the basics, it's another level, and harder to edit in, as 32 bit slows down the timeline playback, so, you really only want to engage it post all your edits.
