Color Correction Help

I shot a wedding a couple of weeks ago and one of my camera's settings didin't set correctly thus the cause of my woes. I've only been using vegas for a few months and still struggle with color correction.

I've attached stills of the two images I would like to match. I'm trying to make the brick in image2 match image1. I have attached links to the images below:

What would be the correct approach to take with this?

You really want to match the flesh tones (faces) and the neutrals (the bride's dress). No one's interested in looking at the bricks in this instance, unless it's the old bf (!)

That being said, open the Sony Color Corrector, adjust the "Mid" levels for the second track to 344.0 Angle, and .320 Magnitude. Leave everything else as it is. That will give you a good starting point.

And don't feel like learning color correcting in Vegas is the issue. Color correcting is an acquired art requiring years of mistakes and a learning curve beyond most individuals' comprehension. The principles are all the same in still photography, video, graphic arts, print and projection disciplines.

** And remember to white balance all your cameras on the same reference before you shoot.

Set the white balance, maybe play around with color curves to change contrast + brightness, and then use the secondary CC to get major colors to match.

I would try and make the brick match since it covers most of the screen and is the most noticeable difference between the shots. I'd try and get the flesh tones to match too.
