color effects not working

Just purchased pro 13 and when i try to and any color correction nothing happens. Ive had studio before so Im not new to sony products. Any Ideas?

A feature that is in Vegas Pro that is not in Vegas Movie Studio is the Split Screen button above the preview. Disable it.
