Color grading on track level

Roger Bansemer wrote on 9/7/2024, 9:44 AM

Using V22 - I use Alt G to bring up color grading and if I want to correct an event it works fine... BUT if I use the drop down to apply grading to track level everything is greyed out. What am I possibly doing wrong?

Have you tried highlighting (Click the selected/desire track) the video track you want to grade after switching to "Track Level" in CGP?

I started a new project as a test and the "track FX" grading worked fine so.... it's has something to do with the particular project I'm working on. I have 6 tracks and the "track FX" doesn't work on any one of those tracks. I can't see where I've done anything different that I usually do.
Can't figure this out !

After watching the video few times, I noticed that you have highlighted all of the track in Timeline causing CGP Track FX to show "not active".

You must click or ensure no more than 1 track is being highlighted.

Great detective work and observation. I never would have noticed that but it definitely was the problem. Thank you so very much.
