Color grading presets

One of the most common questions I see in the Vegas forums is what expensive plug-in you need to get the film look. The answer is: None. You can achieve any look you want by just using the color grading tools that come built into Vegas. You can then save that look as a custom preset and reuse it over and over. You can even export the presets to a file and share them with others who can import them to their own Vegas using the Sony Preset Manager.

Here is a video I made about using presets to get different looks in Vegas:

He who knows does not speak; he who speaks does not know.

Can you imagine the silence if everyone only said what he knows?

Really supprised no one has responded to this. So:
Thanks for taking the time to release these free colour grades. I downloaded them and they look pretty good. And thanks for your effort in making the 11 minute youtube video too.
Starting to think it would be great if someone set up a free 'looks' website where we can all share our film looks and grade ideas. You can make great looking grades just using Vegas's internal tools, the skill is more to do with being a good colourist! Anyone interested in setting up such a website / forum ? To share grading presets like this.

Thanks for presets. BTW, they only work in Vegas 10 (Vegas 8 or 9 dies when attempting to apply a preset)

Thanks for letting me know that. I only have Vegas 10.0e on my system, so I was not aware of the problem with the earlier versions.
