Color MANAGEMENT

Could use some help trying to keep colors consistent from stills, scans to printing Pixel Pop DVD case inserts and DVD/CD media (Bravo CD/DVD burner/printer).
I have the Pantone Colorvision Spyder for the LCD monitors; have had the SONY PVM 14" color monitor color calibrated; now I need to find color management software to link up the scanner, Bravo printer/burner and the HP printer for case inserts.
Anyone have suggestions?

It is nearly impossible to mach colors from a computer monitor to a CD/DVD printer. Trust me, I've been doing this for many years, started out with the Signature 2 printer, then to the Signature 4 printer and now the Signature Pro printers. Unless you have a day to waste tweaking the color, printing out a copy and repeating that until you're crazy you won't be able to do it. You can get pretty close, but you will never get an exact match.

Thanks for the info, Jsnkc. I agree that the Bravo's printer is not sophisticated enough to exactly match the color of a specific photo. But I can do a better job of educating myself on color matching between Adobe Photoshop and the Bravo, etc.

I'm trying to more closely match color between my stills that get scanned into my PC/Photoshop and how they are printed on DVD case inserts from my HP printer, too.

I'm also getting requests to scan slides from some pro photogs. I'm looking at buying the Epson 4870 scanner. Therefore, I gotta learn more about color management!
