Color Match Video Effect in MS 13 - 64bit

I upgraded to MS 13 to keep "up-to-date" on the various suite programs. The only parts of 13 that I find interesting and worthwhile for my editing are the Boris effects and the Color Match video effect. So, until I inherit a 4K rig I'm sticking with MS 12, which I love.

Transferring the Boris into MS 12 - 64bit is easy, but I have not found where Color Match is hiding. It doesn't seem to be in the Video Plug-ins folder where I expected it.

Has anyone discovered the whereabouts of Color Match and if it is possible to get it working in version 12?

If so, I would greatly appreciate some guidance.

Thanks!

I couldn't find it nor find the file itself to copy over into the Movie Studio 12 directories. I do agree with you re: v13 - the additional plugins are the key relative to the new version. I still use v12.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought moving an effect would be easy, but some of them must be hidden in dll files, or inside the program itself. At least it was easy to get the new plug-ins working in the older version, so not all was lost with the upgrade. If I finally figure it out I'll be sure to let you know.

Would love to hear it. I have ahad the same experience as you did. Easy to move some 3rd party effects, but not Color Match.
