color range/eyedropper/chroma key

My eyedropper in V9 wont draw a rectangle to select a color range for chroma key or secondary correcter etc as it does in V8. Whats the problem? Another V9 problem for the list or am I missing somthing?

For some unexplained reason it appears that that particular function was removed in version 9.

Just to clarify, you can still draw out a rectangle but you can no longer see it.

John - oh yes . . yes indeed. I as doing some work in the last 2 days where I was "guessing" the shape I was dragging over.

Hey Grazie off topic here but I really appriciate your following up on the lockups that occurred due to firewire preview. I saw the Sony comments about turning off the sync offset to prevent the freezing till the fix comes in the next update. I preview constantly so the freezing made 9 virtually unusable for me. Now I can edit away happily.
