Color sets

Can anyone point me to an in-depth treatment of this topic?

I have read the notes in the help menu and have also purchased and read Steve Grisetti's book. I have scoured the net looking for such a resource oh, and searched this forum, but all I really have is a patchy, sketchy feel for what happens when I set the color sets up.

I would like to really understand what the consequences are of specifying each mode of each color set but at the moment feel like I am just messing around until I get something that sort-of works.

Thanks for supporting the book, biggles!

Is there something in particular you have a question about?

Generally, your main focus should be on a your Fill Color. This determines the color and opacity of your overlay. The anti-alias should be similar in color since it supplements the fill. The outline background setting determines the color of elements outside the fill, like drop shadows.

I'd recommend you keep the Transparent color transparent -- otherwise it will create an overlay over your entire menu page except for the fill and outline.
