I am new to video editing. I am using Platinum 6 on a AMD x2 machine and capturing video 8 tape from a Sony TRV480E which is conected using a 1394 connection. Picture and sound quality is very good except for a stripe which runs from top-right to bottom-right which is a different colour. The stripe is approx 1/20 th of the width of the screen. The detail in this stripe is good it is just that the colour is wrong (eg blue water turns pink, cream coloured walls turn green, etc). Can anybody explain why this happens ... or better still ... tell me how to avoid it. Thanks for reading this. Allan
