combine audio files

I extracted 4 different audio tracks from a CD, trimmed each and then saved them into 4 different files. I want to combine the 4 files into one track to make a medley. The online help says to select the files (from the Explorer window), right-click and drag to the timeline. A menu should appear asking how to arrange them (ie. end-to-end on the same track). I tried this and I do not get a menu and only one of the 4 files appears in the timeline. I need help with combining these files. Thanks

Since it's only four files, i wouldn't worry about the menu. Just drag them each onto the track, then trim and/or overlap as needed.

Actually, you CAN select how they'll be inserted.

While holding the files over your track area: Keep the left mouse button down, click the right mouse button. You will now toggle between the various importing modes.
