I've created two VMS10p videos about 10 min each that I would like to combine into one video project. Is there a way to copy the video, music and titles from one project into another?
I usually just render both projects in in the final format of the video, then import them into another Vegas project. The final render should be very fast. This makes it much easier to add custom transitions between my chapters, or import them separately to DVDA.
Thanks Musicvid. Would you please expand on this. With two copies of VMS10p open, when I try to copy (CTRL-C) selected items, then go to the otehr window and paste (CTRL-V), it does not work. When I try to copy selected items, then in the same VMS10p load the other project, then Copy it does not work. How do I have two projects open?
Steve, I highlight or CTRL-A all the titles, video and music that I want to move, then press CTRL-C (or click on the Copy icon), then switch to the other VMS10p window and click where I want on the timeline, then press CTRL-V. Nothing appears. The clipboard icon does not show paste available.
What are you doing that works please? Curt
Argh! I just tried my above technique (two VMS10P windows open) and it worked perfectly to copy from one to the other. Not sure why it did not before. I pressed the clipboard Paste icon this time - which showed material there. I may have just tried CTRL-V before.
Thanks for a great Forum guys. Curt
