Combine video tracks?

Hello, I am trying to create a special effect of my son jumping over a speeding car. I have three tracks for the effect.
Track 1 - A chromakeyed scene of my son jumping.
Track 2 - My son running up the street facing where the care will be coming from.
Track 3 - The car speeding down the street towards my son.

I am trying to combine the scenes together but it doesn't work. If I switch around the video tracks. Only one becomes the primary. If I change the opaciity I can see the scenes all toegther but they are faded & transparent . I would like them all to be seem fully at the same time. Please help. Thank you, Eric

Use the Chroma Key Plug-in for the track with the green screen. Place this on the top track.

That didn't work. The problem is the car track is only visible when is goes throught he chromakey video. The car disapears once it goes past the chromakey video. I still need help,
Thx, Eric

Top tracks tack precedence over lower tracks, so if the car disappears, it must be on a lower track, and therefore covered up by something on a track above it. The solution is to move the track that the car is on so that it is above the other tracks. You can do this by "grabbing" the track header with the mouse and then dragging it up above the other tracks.

If you want to combine the car with footage from the other tracks, and you don't have a green screen for the remaining footage, then you need to use a mask. Do a search on the word "mask" in the manual to get more information.

Try applying the ChromaKey effect only to the clip of your son jumping and not to the entire track.

That's how I had it. Only the portion of him jumping is in the track and chromakeyed. I tried masking but the transparency is really bad.

I figured it out. Thank you both for your help.
