combining mpegs without re-rendering?

I don't always have the time to render big files which takes hours - is there a way (using Sony or other software) to combine mpegs without re-rendering the files or losing video quality? That way, I can create a DVD after I combine smaller files into a big one.

You can use either of the Womble products to cut and join MPEGs without re-rendering.

Alternatively, in DVDA2, you can simply drag the smaller clips into your project and set each clip's end action to play the next clip in sequence.

Womble is the way to go. Please write Sony and ask them to add this to both DVDA and to Vegas. They need to hear from as many people as possible how serious this shortcoming is. People need to re-use their MPEG files!
