I've been using an AX2000 for about 18 months. Lot's of shooting control, battery lasts forever, reasonable low light performance. Good green screen compositing. Well built. Edits well in Vegas, with sufficient horsepower and, well priced for what you get. Great camera for events, weddings, and personal shooting. It is big enough if customers are wooed by the "pro" look. Maybe too big if you want more of an on the go camera. Good sound control with built in XLR.

It does far more than I need and has always responded to what I've thrown at it. Read the user reviews on BHvideo.com if you want more feedback from users.

Also, this camera is the same as the Sony HXR-NX5U NXCAM. It doesn't have GPS, the secondary HD unit and some shooting modes (check the specs).
