Compatibility between Vegas 5/6 files

Can Vegas 6 open files created by V. 5? Can Vegas 5 open files created by V. 6? Is there a "save to Vegas 5" option in Vegas 6?

6 can read 5, 5 cannot read 6. Once a 5 read by 6 is saved, 5 can't read it anymore. No save to 5 that I'm aware of.

And remember 6 is scared of 7 because 7 8 9.
