After having New Blue Titler crash Vegas every time I simply tried to open it, I did a little searching here, and found, sort of buried in one thread, a mention of a fix that promises to solve a lot of crash problems, and has absolutely solved the New Blue Titler Pro crash problem.
Since I had been participating in another "compatability mode" discussion on an audio forum, this almost slipped by me as a reference to running in XP mode. The fix, however, (and it was instantaneous) was to right click the desktop Vegas icon, go into Properties and set the compatability mode to Win 7.
This has some promises for fixing other crashes as well, so heads up out there. Perhaps everyone else knew about this, but it is my first time running a heavy operation in Win 7, and I had not seen a reference to this fix elsewhere here.
It seems maybe this should be standard setup procedure for Vegas 11.
