Compatibility: Sony TRV-740

Thanks to anyone who can answer this. Helping a friend with Chroma key stuff and know Vegas will do it. I don't want to find out after buying the saoftware that I might need to buy a new camera!!! I'm just trying to help. Do any of you know about this camera's compatability? It is a digital-8 camera. and it does have a USB based streaming port and sticker on it!!

I suspect the USB port is for transferring still photos. Haven't read the review thoroughly, but it says it has a firewire port for video transfer, just like every other DV camera.
