I never came across this need until a client asked for a bunch of animated name plates for their in-house Avid System.... but you cant use Vegas to composite effects and still have the alpha that you started with from photoShop (Transparency). I know a work around is to supply a "Hole Cutter / matte" but that does not allow for an animated glint around the outside edge! Anyone come up against this yet? Just curious....
