compositing and masking

Hi, i want to place this video

on a white background in VP15.

I'm changing the compositing modes...nothing works.

Even tried the "mask generator".....does nothing.

Anyone any know how to achieve this?

Unless I misunderstand you, all you need to do is put a white track(from media Generator, solid white color) below your video on the timeline.

Check properties of the source and make sure that Alpha is enabled.
