Compositing tutorial

A new compositing tutorial is available. This is for example only and is not intended for use in commercial productions.

username: dude
password: sweet
folder: sample projects

download the folder: Transporter (34 MB)

when you are finished downloading the the Transporter folder and all contents, open the folder and launch "Beam me up.htm"

I have been looking for a tutorial to do something like this for some time and couldn't find one.

I'm not sure why, but I can't get to the ftp site. Message: Could not login to ftp with the user name and password.

I've tried other times, but same message??

Dude! Sweet!

It will take me days to work through this one (still wet behind the VV3 ears :). Question: Obviously I can't just rely on you nice folks at SF to keep feeding us ideas (don't get me wrong keep them coming) and I've learned alot over at the Creative Cow BUT will the new book that is available for VV3 get me over the learning curve so that I can better string together these types of effects. Or at least understand them better?
