I have always been confused about all the composting options, and would like to sort this out now once and for all through you geniuses out there. I'm using Movie Studio 13 Platinum and what confuses me is the interaction between the various cropping and transparency options. When I change one this has an effect on the others (or so it seems). Basically, I have a video of a forum on one track with the presenter's slides on the track above. When the presenter displays a particular slide, I insert the appropriate slide at that position. This of course works fine, and the slide will occupy the full frame. But what I want to do is to display the presenter transparently in the upper right hand corner of the slide for the duration of the slide. I have tried splitting the presenter track for this duration, and then fiddling around with the composting options, but am battling with the composting/cropping/transparency combination thing.

That's my problem, and I'd really appreciate some help to solve my issue once and for all.
