Does Vegas do compression somewhere before the "Make Movie" command? I'm getting apprx 20 minutes on a 4.8GB DVD. Is that normal?

You might want to post this in the Vegas Movie Studio forum.
Vegas Movie Studio doesn't do any compression in the Make Movie option, other than DV compression. For a DVD, you need MPEG compression, so you should be selecting the Make Movie/Burn it to a DVD option.
