Computer Upgrade Made Simpler

I just got a new HVR-Z1U and it's time to get the computer I need to go along with it.

I don't have the time or expertise to build one myself. Could someone help me out with some referrals? Are there some really good turnkey systems available? Or do I need to sort through the component pros and cons I've seen in some of the posts?

I'm more comfortable creatively than I am technically, so your help is appreciated.

Call Colfax International, talk to Richard. They are simply awesome. They sold me the parts for the HDV machine I just built for hard travel, and they've been great to deal with.
The DV Shoppe in Atlanta has similar machines, so does VideoForce, but I'm pretty impressed with Colfax.

If you know what parts you want, you could get a local computer shop or an online vendor like monarchcomputer.com to custom-assemble it for you. monarchcomputer.com has a decent resellerratings.com rating and good pricing... I personally have no experience with them though.

To figure out what parts you want, you could ask people on this forum for their current configurations and get the same thing. HDV may be a little tricky because it will have higher system requirements.
