conect vegas to a remote

i need to output vegas from my computer to a betacam via a nine pin conector so as in to start recording on betacam exactly when i output to tape in vegas

422 deck control + insert edit to tape is not natively supported in Vegas, but there may be an easy-ish workaround.

What hardware are you using?
Are you laying back the entire show?

im running out firewire into a advc-500 converter and i need to put that into a sonybeta cam sp uvw-1800/1800p

Please let us all in on this. I paid 175 dollars US for Pipeline Pro VTR for Premiere which is now useless for Vegas. I would like to do insert or assemble. PVW-2800, BVW-70,75.
