Hello

I bought Vegas4+DVD and while waiting for the delivery of the original, I am using the demo version on a Pentium 3 (bought in 2000), 256 Ram, Win2K service pack 3 I don't have a Video capture card.

I want to buy another computer more powerful with all I need to use Vegas and capture video from camcorder but I am really not too sure what to buy.

Knowing a computer depreciate as soon as you open the box I don't want throw a bunch of money for nothing.

Could anyone suggest a configuration to do video editing on a regular level, output on DVD and not too expensive?

Thanks

helene

Start with a visit to videoguys.com -- many interesting editorials on hardware and operating systems. I wish I'd gone there a year ago. Grob

Check out DV Line at http://www.dvline.com/CFWebstore/pages/proline.htm You can check out the "Base Build" or "Configured Specials" They test sytems with software configurations to ensure no system conflicts. They have a good reputation as I understand.
