I have a Sony BDP-S300 Blu-ray player. I just downloaded the latest firmware v3.95. I called the main Sony support number (not Sony Creative Software) and they told me that BD-R discs will not play in this unit. I even asked specifically about BD-R discs made with DVDA 5 Pro. He said the it would only work with the "Click to Disc" software that happens to be on some Vaio computers. Does not sound right to me???

DVDA5 has not been tested in the BDP-S300 player but only the BDP-S1. Has anyone had any experience with the BDP-S300. I am going to try anyway but have not had time yet.
