ConnectHD Capture Error and FX! Firmware?

When capturing with ConnectHD (Cineform 2.1/16 latest version) i am getting the "C:\Brisco\Apps" error. It's not necessary for me to describe this common yet partly unresolved Cineform error which Cineform says is likely because of a need for a firmware upgrade for my FX1. Does anyone know of such an available upgrade for I do not?

There was a software upgrade for a limited range of production serial numbers, but more than that I don't know. A check with Sony would be the quickest way to clear that up. You might scan Sony product notifications.
