Connecting several clips, for a seamless movie

Hi, folks.
I just made a search and didn't find anything about this, so ...

Say I have two MPEG files: file A with 3 chapters A1,A2,A3 and file B with 4 chapters B1,B2,B3,B4.

I have managed to build a menu in such a way that if I select item B2 it will play B2 and then B3 and then B4.

But what I need is a seamless movie, in such a way that when I select one chapter it will play that chapter and then the following one, "jumping" from file A to file B until the movie ends, returning to menu.
What I want is the seamless sequence: A1 A2 A3 B1 B2 B3 B4 but I can't succeed on going from A3 to B1, I am returned to menu.

The obvious solution of "mending" A and B into a single file is not the option that I am pursuing now.

Is it possible ? Many thanks for sharing with me.

Not currently. End-actions are not supported right now. To do this, create a SINGLE complete file that contains A and B and then add chapter points to THAT file.

Just as I feared.
I must wait for version d (or more), to have a linking facility like Roxio Videopack.

Thanks, jetdv.

Lots of people ask for this, but I don't know where it is on the SF priority list. It is the number one request on my list.

In the meantime, you can use TMPGEnc (share/frewware) to join multiple MPEG clips prior to importing into DVD-A. Unfortunately, you sometimes get an audio glitch at the point that they join.
