Consolidate media

In Boris I can consolidate all my media and it will create a new bin with a copy of all the media that is used from different media drives
I can then dump that to a portable hard drive ..open in a different pc edit and render

Is there a way of doing this in Vegas?

thanks
Rory

Unfortunately, doesn't trim any flavour of HD MPEG2 for me....With almost 100% source material being the EX mxf HD, it's pretty useless (even though 8.1c has smart mxf rendering)!

Having some 750 GB of mxf source and a 2-hour project, it's be nice to create an appropriate size archive.

I use Red and that is really, really nice.

With regard to the native Vegas way (trim, copy media) it does not always work, especially when it comes to nested Veg files.

The only thing I have seen do this whole media consolidation evolution correctly is Ultimate S. It works like you think it would and does it right every time.

Just that alone is almost worth the price of Ultimate S. Does tons more stuff too. Extremely useful.
