Continuous background music on menus linked pages

Well... the subject sums it up nicely. I would like to have a song not start over when I enter a sub-menu, but instead continue. I thought I had gotten it to work before and that is why I switched from ulead workshop.

But I could be wrong. I've tested out 6 dvd authoring applications in the last 2 weeks.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that is possible in any program, or in the DVD spec. When the DVD player displays the linked page, it must phisically move the head to a new location, read the data and re-sync, now it is reading a whole new video source, with a new audio source.

The right kind of audio could allow for a less noticable break in the audio, but I think that is the best you can hope for.
